Price by destination: what it costs where you’re going
The price changes by destination because each country has its own plans in the catalogue: there is no single daily rate for the whole world. Below is the entry plan (1 GB for 7 days, where the catalogue has one) in eight destinations, with the network behind it.

AED prices of 16 Oct: your card is charged exactly the AED amount. The seller is registered outside the UAE, so some banks may still add a foreign-merchant fee.

Paying from the UAE: the AED price, the charge and your bank’s fee
The AED price. Every plan shows an exact AED amount, not an estimate. That is what the checkout charges.
The charge. “Charged in AED by JET SHARING (USA). Your bank may add a foreign-transaction fee.” The seller is registered outside the UAE, so some banks treat the payment as foreign even in AED: ADCB lists 2.99% on most credit cards in its schedule of charges, and Emirates NBD lists 1.99% in its Priority Banking schedule (15 Oct 2026).
Approval. If your bank asks you to approve the payment in its app, open the app and confirm. Pay at home before you fly, while your UAE line is online.
Seller. The seller is JET SHARING MOBILITY INC (United States). Your card statement shows “JET SHARING”.
How to pay has the bank-by-bank tariff lines and what to check if a card is declined. This page is not financial advice; check the details with your bank.
Keep your UAE number on for calls and SMS
A data-only eSIM has no phone number, so your UAE SIM stays in the phone for calls and SMS. Your e&, du or Virgin Mobile line won’t use mobile data abroad unless you add a roaming pack; e& lets you unlock pay-as-you-go data for 24 hours by SMS (15 Oct 2026).
e& and Virgin Mobile do not charge for SMS you receive abroad; calls you receive are charged per minute. No operator page promises that every bank SMS will reach you abroad. The guide to keeping your UAE number covers the dual-SIM settings on iPhone and Android.
An operator roaming pack is sometimes the better buy, for example on Umrah when you need many calls home: e& and du Umrah packs include minutes. We sell travel eSIMs, so we have an interest here. The roaming comparison lists e&, du and Virgin Mobile packs with dates, so you can judge for yourself.
Check your phone before you buy
An eSIM works only on a phone built for it. Before you pay:
- Check your model in the list of eSIM-compatible phones.
- Have Wi-Fi and the QR code from your e-mail ready: installing needs both.
- Follow the install guide: it shows the steps for iPhone and Android.
Refund before the eSIM connects
Full refund. Within 30 days of purchase, as long as the eSIM has not connected to any network.
The threshold. The first connection, not the installation, so an eSIM installed at home is still refundable if your trip is cancelled.
The one exception. If the eSIM doesn’t work and it isn’t your phone’s fault, we refund the payment whether or not it was installed.
Where it goes. Back to the same card in AED. On a refund your bank may keep its fee. The full rules are in the refund policy.
